Welcome to RockyMountainDexter.Com

Home of the Rocky Mountain Dexter Breeders Association

The purpose of Rocky Mountain Breeders is three fold:  to educate Dexter Breeders on best practices for herd management, to educate the general public
about Dexter Cattle and the benefits they offer, and to provide Dexter Breeders with the resources and venue to market their cattle.

We were founded in 2012.  Membership is open to everyone, whether you have a large or small herd, or are just dreaming of owning your own Dexter some day.

In addition to our Annual General Meeting held at the Utah State Fair, we also hold an annual farm tour.  So far we have had farm tours in Spanish Fork, UT – hosted by the Sorensens; Kanab, UT – hosted by the Cluffs; Rupert, ID – hosted by the Stimpsons; Helper, UT – hosted by the Cummins, and the 2016 tour will be held in Layton, UT – hosted by the Lopez/Darcey family.  Thanks to all our hosts for their hard work.   During the tour we are able to view other breeding operations, share ideas, and have a good meal with friends.

Membership is only $25/year.
